Special exhibition "The Music of Ohio"

One of the display cases in this special exhibition features artifacts from the Akron/Kent, Ohio, punk/new wave music scene from the late 1970s/early 1980s. A couple of the artifacts in this display include a few of the ones I created for THE WAITRESSES during this period. This was during the long stretch of my graduate school career at Kent State University where I spent much more time participating in the local music and art scene than I did working on my dissertation.

Apologies for the poor picture quality. This is a bootleg photo. Picture taking not permitted in museum.

All items in display case are numbered and described on text boards along the side. The items I created are attributed to "The collection of Chris Butler"--friend, grad school housemate, member of Tin Huey, and founder/leader of The Waitresses.
